Itinerary

Begin your journey by enrouting towards the Queen of hills, Shimla. On the way visit Pinjore Garden and Barog. After reaching Shimla have a leisure walk in The Mall & Ridge.

Morning proceed towards the next destination, the alluring Sangla and on the way visit the beautiful Bhima Kali Temple.

Bhima Kali Temple: The temple is dedicated to the mother Goddess Bhimakali. The temple is one of 51 Shakti Peethas. The town Sarahan is known as the gate way of Kinnaur. Sarahan is identified with the then Sonitpur mentioned in Puranas.

This day one covers exciting and interesting places like Rakcham and Chitkul Village. Rakcham (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour) : The beautiful village is situated at an elevation of 2900 Meters above the sea level. The beautiful village is located midway between Sangla and Chikul Village. Chitkul Village(Approximate Duration: 2 Hours) : Located at an altitude of 3450 Meters. It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. The Indian road ends here. Potatoes grown at Chittkul are one of the best in the world and are very costly.
